Well where should I start, here we go, I've had a new clutch cable, water tempertture sensors x2, exhaust lambda senor, water thermostat, brake pads, full exhaust, plugs, repair to drivers inner door lock, two new tyres, petrol filter, anti freeze x2, now need to change the alternator & power steering belts, due to a screeching noise.
I've only had the car 4 months. I've spent around £300/£400 on maintanance & repair bills & that's also taking into consideration I've done allot of the work myself. Engine also noisy over 4,000 rev's, due to being a small revy 16v engine. The car needs it's engine oil topping up every two weeks & I've now put in a slightly thicker oil 15/50 instead of the recommended 10/40.
Interior nice & like the half leather seats. Averaging around 35mpg.
Looks like you bought a plum, maybe next time you'll check the car over before you buy?
Well I think your being very unfair to the car there. The person who suggested checking over the car you buy was exactly right. I know how it feels to buy a lemon. I bought a rover 216 and people rave on about the Honda engine and I can't see what the fuss is all about because I have also had a 1.4 16v k-series and found that much better and the sound it produces is so high quality and impressive!
