2000 Rover - Austin 25 is review from UK and Ireland
"The worst car I have ever owed"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The first three weeks were fine then the
exhaust started to rattle.
After three months the engine started to make some strange noises, the dealer said it was wearing in noises, after 15 months the engine was replaced with a new one.
The new engine was in and with in one week it was back in the garage with the same fault, we were told the it had not been put in correct.
After five months more strange noises were coming from the engine and we were told that all the tappets, head gasket, camshaft and a modifacation had to be made on the rear shock absorbers.
