2003 Rover - Austin 25 Impression s review from UK and Ireland
"Great little car. shame about irritating rattles and squeaks"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The heater control broke, but was repaired quickly under warranty.
Door seal came off! also repaired under warranty.
General comments?
Fantastic little car. engine really is a flyer, 0-60 in 10 seconds in a 1.4!!!
Handles well, if a little prone to understeer.
Cabin is a nice place to spend time, and the driving position, although not great, is reasonable and fairly comfy.
Visibility is good.
Packed with useful features and good kit levels, lots of nice quality touches like thick carpet, wipers that come on automatically when reverse is selected etc. feels well built.
However - it rattles!!! there is a rattle from in the steering colum, and another from somewhere in the dash. really irritating, and hopefully to be fixed soon under warranty.
