1997 Rover - Austin 400 416i review from UK and Ireland
"a good comfy car."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The rear brakes were stuck on at last service.
ABS light stays on all the time.
Clutch is a bit sloppy.
General comments?
The car is very comfortable.
The car goes extremely well for a 1600.
The engine seems strong and reliable.
I'm a mechanic so I'm aware of the common faults with rovers, but maintenance and good servicing will keep it a nice, comfortable car.
The car is not costly to run or repair.
