2003 Rover - Austin 45 iL review from UK and Ireland
"Good value small family motoring"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing so far ;)
General comments?
I find the Rover 45 a huge improvement over the 400 where you cannot see it, which is a good thing, because the shape is very classy.
The steering is sharp and responsive compared to the R 400, and the suspension is very sporty. It gives you more confidence when cornering fast compared to the old soft but comfortable R 400.
Thanks to the new seats, there is more legroom in the back, but the headroom has not been improved. The driver seat adjusts for high and has a lumbar support - very useful for long journeys.
I like the white dials.
