1997 Rover - Austin 600 sdi review from UK and Ireland
"I love my car car (baby) looking good"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Eletric window drivers side regulator went twice second time from new. New radiator had new engine mount bottom. Had hand brake problems, had new brakes rear pads discs and calipers still will not hold on my drive - if any one had this problem let me know please. Water in the boot not sure were it is coming from. New head light passenger side, bad design as bumper and cross meber has to come off just to get head light out. New cam, but that's to be expected car has done 170000 miles before it needed new clutch. 10 out of 10. New gear linkage, but could not get one from main dealer in short sulply got one finally. Cheap to run average 50 to the gallon not bad. Direct inline injection turbo diesel 2ltr sdi, aircon, electric windows, sunroof, ABS discs all round, airbag adjustable steering wheel height, adjustable seat, get five adults in full seat belts. All round lovely car to drive, shame they stop making them. Better shape than the standard 75, leg room in the back is a bit on the short side. As diesels go it is quite and fast. Good looking car.
