1982 Rover - Austin Metro L review from UK and Ireland
"Will get you there in the end"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clutch master cylinder went.
Front tyres wore out quickly.
Trim and plastic handles etc. broke off easily.
Rust prone with some minor electrical niggles.
Poor damp starting.
General comments?
Cheap and cheerful motoring most of the time - as long as it wasn't raining.
Generally cheap to run and repair, but odd parts could be expensive.
Engine lacks guts, but is OK for steady motoring.
