1983 Rover - Austin Metro Gala review from UK and Ireland
"Cheap and nice, but little things are always breaking"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Spark plugs (3 times).
Various leaks.
Bonnet catch broke.
Passenger side door handle broke off.
Broken gear linkage (twice).
Ignition wires keep coming loose.
General comments?
Nice drive for the car it is.
Very manouverable and quite happy whether it's city centres or motorways.
Minor things are always breaking or going wrong with it.
Taller drivers will find the driving position cramped.
