1988 Rover - Austin Metro Mayfair review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Washer pump failed 3 times in 2 years, poor design.
Exhaust cracked at manifold 3 times in 2 years.
Suspension sags regularly.
General comments?
10 years old, done 32,000. No rust, perfect condition. Wicked car 9/10 + I can get two bikes, camping equipment and other stuff for a weekend of Mountain bike racing with a mate, so it has space too for a small car.
