1992 Rover - Austin Metro GTi 16V MPi review from UK and Ireland
"The definative pocket rocket!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Cracked cylinder head.
It was stolen!
General comments?
This car is awesome goes like no metro should, 127mph in fifth at limiter.
103 bhp as standard and quick revving makes for a great pocket rocket, easily embarrasses much bigger cars, a true hot hatch beater forget that golf gt get one of these!
120 bhp+ easy with trophy throttle body de-cat k+n etc.
Handles suprisingly well when ride height lowered slightly.
This car is all about performance and I found that it can't be driven sensibly it turns you into a maniac and is just pure lunacy!!!
Seats are very supportive.
Cabin same as 80s metros.
Hard to find none rusty ones.
Easily stolen as I found out!!
