I've just bought a nightfire from a "careful" lady owner and they are a money pit! The parts are so expensive. Cost me £700 in less than a week!
I've had my night-fire since 2004- it's fantastic (although not the most luxurious car).
Sailed through most MOTs with just a new tyre or wiper blade, never broken down, goes well on motorways and good for little country roads as well!
Would highly recommend as a first car, and if you do happened to need parts you can normally get them cheap from the scrap yard (found this out when I snapped my aerial).
