2000 Rover - Austin Mini Cooper Sport 'S' Works 90 BHP review from UK and Ireland
"Great Fun!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Uses quite a lot of oil, this is also due to the kit on the engine.
General comments?
The car is keep tucked away and only used when it is sunny or for shows.
The car is a wolf in sheeps clothing, completely standard bodywork, but has a John Cooper 'S' Works Kit, which consists of a Stage 3 Head, 1.5 roller rockers, Polished and ported inlet manifold, uprated fuel pressure regulator, Full Janspeed Exhaust.
It is great fun to drive and it can play with some of the 90's Hot Hatches (I've also got a Pug 309 GTI) with 0-60 taking about 8.5 seconds when it gets traction. Top speed in the mini is off the speedo, but that isn't important.
The mini changes direction like a rollercoaster, especially with the Yokohama A539 tyres and 13" alloys.
Space is obviously limited, but I've still managed to get a 10" Infinity in the boot.
