1989 Rover - Austin Montego L review from UK and Ireland
"Really nice car to drive, pity about the wall!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing much apart from the heater matrix spraying my legs with water!!
General comments?
Nice big motor. I only bought the thing cause I was skint and I was pleasantly surprised! The front seats were like armchairs and the back seats were massive! The boot was big enough to live in.
The only thing was the car was rusty from top to bottom especially the rear wheel arches and the back door handle came off in my hand the first day I bought it (£200) and my mates just called it a clown car. The car went well until I eventually hit a wall! Too much to repair and parts were like hens teeth so it went to the scrap yard.
RIP big bus!!!
