What things have gone wrong with the car?
What has not gone wrong with this car is a more appropriate question.
Maintenance cost on this vehicle is disturbing. The power window mechanism went out and had to be replaced - luckily while still under warranty.
The remote door locks fail and had to be replaced.
The CD player malfunctions with even brand new CDs. The entertainment system can only be replaced by the manufacturer because no other vendors have products that will fit.
The tail lights vibrate loose and have to be readjusted to assure they work.
A part of the emissions went out and had to be replaced that was in excess of $600 to replace.
A part of the wheel mechanisms had to be replaced that cost another $600 plus dollars.
Brakes and rotors wear out too quickly and are extremely expensive to replace - a simple break job can cost in excess of $1000 if completed by the dealer.
The emblems stickers peel off that cost $50 to replace - have had to replace both the front and back emblem sticker - a sticker cost $50 bucks - unbelievable
General comments?
Don't purchase this car. The original owners of SAAB would be ashamed at the low quality junk General Motors has made of this once fine automoble.
