1985 SAAB 900 single carb review from UK and Ireland
"A great car with a classic look"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Gear box is notchy, but that's normal on this model, its worth getting use to. Heated seats don't work as well as the sunroof.
General comments?
Solid built car which is very reliable mine is 22 years old and starts first turn of the key, the body is galvanized so rust is not a problem, just check bottom of doors on the inside if its going to rust its there.
The seats are extremely comfortable for long journeys, apart for the notchy gear box the car is a dream to drive. This is my second one as I regretted getting rid of my other, i won't make that mistake again unless I see a nice turbo model.
