1985 SAAB 900 Turbo 16v 2.0l review from North America
"Classic car, that will never die"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Heated seats died. Nothing major. Just the usual stuff like belts. I replacespark plugs every 20k to 30k.
A little rust in the wheels wells and hatch back. (soon to be taken care of)
General comments?
I originally bought this car for $1200 Canadian. At first, the car was sluggish, and ran like crap. After giving it a tune up, and tinkering with the turbo, it came back to life, and I love it!!! Best $1200 I have ever spent. I will keep this car for years!!!
I love the car. So far ahead of its time.
Diving this car is a dream. I love it. I love the sound of the turbo kicking in, and the fact that it still turns heads.
I love how every thing is totally built for the diver... everything is rite there. (needs tilt steering)
The motor is truly ahead of its time. Its basically a 4cyl Hemi.
I change the oil every 20k, and the tran fluid once a year. (I use synthetic oils)
