1991 SAAB 9000 CDE review from UK and Ireland
"Luxury trim in a solid safe sensible car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Cylinder head gasket blown £100.
Lambda probe failed (no-one but SAAB could find or fix £267.00).
Jockey wheel on belt sheared causing loss of water pump and power steering (replaced myself £30).
Cruise control faulty (when bought).
Slight boot leak (lock moved, sorted).
General comments?
As stated before, not for boy racers but has enough when needed.
Lovely comfortable car, plenty of space all round, ideal for long journeys.
Average 25mpg.
Engine is still smooth and quiet.
