I LOVE THIS SAAB AND WOULDN'T TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING. IT DRIVES AMAZING AND THE TURBO IS AWSOME. VERRY PEPPY FOR A 4 CYL. I PERSONALLY LIKE DRIVING IT BETTER THAN MY 05' BMW 325Xi. eXPENSIVE TO FIX, but VERY WORTH IT! WITH OVER 190K ON IT THE ENGINE SOUNDS GREAT AND DOES NOT BURN ANY OIL! THE TRANS IS ALSO GREAT NOW THAT MY CLUTCH HAS BEEN FIXED.
Couldn't have said it any better, a-men!
I thoroughly disagree; they are awful. I bought one brand new in 1990 and it died with 50k on it. Saabs are garbage, don't ever buy one.
From what the original reviewer has said and looking at the amount spent to keep the car on the road, I now know why Saabs are priced below rival makes. What you save on the initial purchase price is quickly offset by maintenance costs and eventually resale values.
As for the comment above that says that Saabs are garbage, I would venture to say that you are heavily outnumbered. the Saab you purchased may have been a bad egg, maybe an assembly line worker was having a bad day. or perhaps you just drove it into the ground and didn't take care of it at all. my point is that Saabs are kind of like dogs in the sense that they're wonderful to have if you take good care of them.
