2005 Saturn ION 2 review from North America
"Glad it was discontinued, so no one else has to go through this"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Two weeks after I bought the car, the transmission would 'bolt' and the car would stall out.
A week later the driver side window fell in.
Subsequently, in the next two years every window had to be replaced because of faulty manufacturing.
The dashboard peeled two weeks after the car was bought, and it had to be replaced.
My passlock light stays on and won't go off.
I have had no power steering for the past 6 months. The car intermittently will not start for no apparent reason.
The car has a knocking sound in the back and in the front. It sounds as if it is going to fall apart.
General comments?
This car is a disaster and I would never have recommended the Ion to anyone. No wonder it was discontinued.
