2003 Saturn ION review from North America
"Reliable family and commuter car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I haven't had anything go wrong with this car. I had to replace the tires when I got them, they were almost completely bald, but I put some winter tires on (I live in northern Canada) and that has been fine.
Clip to hold the seatbelt buckle to the seatbelt strap broke, so I have to reach down between the door and the seat to grab my seatbelt buckle.
General comments?
I have owned this car for over a year now, and commute a couple hours each day, and have had NO problems with it. I couldn't be happier with the reliability. I consistently change the oil, air and fuel filters, and outside of that, nothing has come up.
The car keeps running, and has decent enough pick-up, although nothing to write home about.
Decent gas mileage, could be better, but that is true for pretty much every car.
Interior fairly boring, but dials and other information are easy to access and see.
Decent trunk space.
