2004 Saturn ION Ion 1 review from North America
"Drive one and see for yourself how nice it is, overall"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing is wrong with the car so far.
General comments?
I own a 2000 Saturn LS. There were some minor problems with it regarding the starter.
I returned to the same Saturn dealer to find out what was new in the 2004 lot. I purchased an Ion 1 and am very impressed. There is more room in it than the 2000 LS and it handles better due to the new steering electronic design and wheel. It turns sharper as well.
The battery is in the trunk to stave off temperature changes in the hood, but one can still jump the battery from the hood through an attachment. Overall, it is a smart car and fun to own.
Apparently, Saturn listened to its customers.
I wish it did not have Firestone tires, though.
I am now a Saturn fan.
