2004 Saturn ION L2 review from North America
"Gorgeous on the outside, room for improvement on the inside.."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I first got it, there was a speaker blown out from the previous owner - luckily covered under warranty.
A lot of squeaks when you're driving with the radio/cd low. Sometimes you can hear the air blowing like the window is cracked slightly, but it's not cracked.
Seats easily stain.
There is a lot of wasted room, like below the radio/cd player there is a piece of plastic where there could have been a compartment of some sort.
Sound quality really is not as great as I was used to in my Elantra GT. Sounds like all the sound is in the back.
No reading lights.
General comments?
This car speeds up very nicely, but in the winter if you don't let it heat up (like if you're running late for work) it is herky-jerky for a few minutes.
Overall I really am actually happy with my Saturn, but there are a lot of things I wish it had. Sunroof, better audio quality, more "options".
Love the outside look of it.
