2002 Saturn L300 review from North America
"One great big pain for the price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
In October 2007 my lights started to act a bit funny. They started blinking when in the auto mode. In addition my car locks starting making this lock/unlock sound, without promotes or results. Since this started, it has moved into a whole new light show, so to speak. Everything works just fine in the daylight, but once dusk hits, wow watch out. The car becomes possessed and the light show starts. It has managed to produce empty gas, to air bag alert, to security alert, to gear shift locking up and check engine light flashes. All the lights on the dash blink on and off throughout the ride. ONLY AT NIGHT THOUGH!! All the while the door locks are melancholic to the symphony of lights sputtering. Now if this all isn't strange enough, once I put the headlights on manual, everything calms down and resumes as it should.
General comments?
This car is five years old, with only 38,000 miles on it. Why am I encountering this problem, why are any of us? We paid too much for this ride to have these problems.
Also, is anyone out there getting tired of the brake dust all over the wheels?
