2002 Saturn L300 review from North America
"Poorly made where it really counts"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Car emits blue smoke when started. This started as soon as I did the first 3,000 mile oil change. Diagnosed as
needing new rings. Running as is causes all three!!! catalytic converters clog so car has no power. Cost to repair over $3,000. Can't sell as engine repair light is constantly on - can't get new inspection sticker unless fixed. Can't afford to fix.
Steering column smokes when you pull back on bright lights handle.
Brakes grab badly when moving slowly down an icy hill. Not a good car for snow.
General comments?
Saturn company unconcerned. Disappointed as I had heard good things about customer care.
I do love the interior of the car - it's the most comfortable car I've ever driven.
