2000 Saturn LS LS2 review from North America
"The worst car I have ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
MAF went 3 times
O2 sensors have gone twice.
Timing belt replaced in June 2008 along with pulleys. The dealer didn't replace the tensioner and the belt and other pulleys failed the next week.
Water pump failed twice.
Radiator failed.
Tail lights failed.
Turn signal failed.
Ignition burned up twice.
Front end rebuilt twice.
Gas tank shield welds broke.
Windshield wiper arms bend under slightest wieght.
Struts replaced twice. Still makes banging noise.
Air conditioning has a musty odor. Dealer never could fix it.
Terrible howling coming from mirrors at highway speeds. Dealer did fix.
Transmission bang shifts occaisionally. No answer from dealer. Goes away on its own.
General comments?
I bought this car new. If I had to depend on it for long distance transportation, I would have dumped it long ago.
This is undoubtedly the worst automobile I have ever owned and I have had more than forty cars in my 46 years of driving.
