2000 Saturn LS LS1 review from North America
"Good, inexpensive car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The wiper engine has gone out 2 times, once at around 100,000 miles, and then again recently- expensive to replace, but the most costly repair I have had
buy rebuilt if you can. My biggest complaint.
Problem with the engine starting on very hot days- had it in for repairs 2 times- never found the problem.
Air conditioner recharged at 100,000 miles.
Faulty lighting wiring resulted the lights turning themselves on during humid mornings. Relatively simple repair.
General comments?
Overall I am very pleased with the car- repairs have been relatively minor.
It handles well, and has made many long-distance trips without a problem. Great gas mileage.
I highly recommend Saturn.
