Given Saturn's target market was (and is) soccer moms and families, I doubt many of them were used like racing cars. Even young people today don't consider this a "cool" vehicle to modify (and I'm sure there are some that do, but the point is most DO NOT).
Want proof? Just check on Craig's List and you'll see tons of Asian cars (Civics, Nissans, etc.) for sale in modified versions, but most Saturns are just old beaters.
