1999 Saturn SL II review from North America
"Saturn Cars turned out to be Not what they were marketed to be"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Try taking your car in for regular maintenance because engine lights comes on or anything for that matter. Going to the local dealership being told car is OK we'll just put some oil in it for now and come back tomorrow. Tomorrow you drive to work and the car stalls. You call the dealership and you get the run around. I was still on the cusp of my maintenance agreement ending, but I had gone into the dealership for service so when I contacted headquarters I was able to force the issue and specify I was sent home when I took the car in for service.
Parts you are told are covered- guaranteed by the company yet now I have a cracked pipe. The comment I was told engine failure in the SL2 are known within five years of car ownership.
General comments?
Cars should last more than 5 years just look at the Chevys.
