1995 Saturn SL SL2 review from North America

Nothing!

I love this car! I picked up this car for $500 with 150k on it. It runs like a top and it's quick! And I've had no problems.

I recently took it on a 1800 mile trip to California; 38 mpg and no problems! And the AC still works! Unlike my last piece of crap car; a 93 Ford Taurus that had something going wrong with it every other week! Argh, I would just wait for the next thing to go wrong haha.

I've been reading these Saturns can go 300 - 500 k! I'm a happy camper indeed. One I read is still going at 700k miles and no engine work! Wow.

Now on the oil consumption issue; yes mine does it to and I've learned why. They have a certain oil port design in the head that causes this; no worries. Hell I'll put up with adding a few quarts of oil now and again to have this reliability! And the trunk light still works! That alone is worth $100 haha.

All electronics still work. I have an engineering background and I can see the good engineering in this vehicle. Love the plastic body panels that still look like new after 13 years! I heard they were going to stop making these due to the large gap required for expansion of the plastic on hot days. Pfff how stupid.. I notice no LARGE gap on mine. Looks swheeeet! Lovin it!

Oh did I mention the AC still works! Hot dog! I mean cool dog :), My Saturn.. lovin it!
