1995 Saturn SL SL1 review from North America
"It is an excellent car for the money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The engine does burn oil faster than my previous car.
It needed a new engine wire, because the old one was worn and caused the engine to "buck" upon accelleration.
General comments?
Other than the minor engine wire thing, this Saturn has been the most reliable car I have ever owned. I drove it from my residence in Derry, New Hampshire, to Naples, Florida, a 1,300 mile trip each way, and the Saturn had absolutely no problems (I think I put a total of one quart of oil in the engine during the whole trip) and it gets 35 miles to the gallon!!!
This car runs super and has very decent power for a 1.9 4 cylinder. And my particular Saturn is white with black bumpers and has chrome wheels so it looks very nice!
I love my Saturn! and I plan to keep it! I've had it for 7 years without a single problem and I do feel bad for the other people who have "lemon" Saturns, but my Saturn has been just peachy for the past 75,000 miles.
Thanks :)
