1994 Saturn SL SL2 review from North America
"The Model T perfected."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I replaced the alternator and belt myself at about 120000 miles and we had some gaskets replaced on the transmission at about 140000 miles. That's it, other than general maintenance things like brake pads etc. etc.
General comments?
I can't say enough about this car. This vehicle has been the best I've ever owned in terms of reliability and economy.
The seats are uncomfortable and the engine is noisy.
The air cleaner and battery are tough to access. The oil filter is also in an awkward spot and hard to replace.
