1996 Saturn SL review from North America
"Good economy car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong with this car that was not a routine thing. I did have to replace the clutch at about 65,000, and then again at about 70,000. The first clutch was due to the miles on the car, and the second clutch was due to a defect in the installing of it.
General comments?
This car is extremely reliable. I have placed a lot of miles on it in the time that I Have had it, and it is still running great.
It is a very light body, I am not used to that. Previously I had driven larger cars...firebird, truck and blazer. This is quite a change.
The car does not come standard with power steering and it does take some getting used to at the beginning. But I can honestly say that my punch is a lot better now!
The value for the car is wonderful. I get great gas mileage and did not have to pay an arm and a leg for the car.
