"Good car for who takes car of it before 120'000 miles"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

>> First, the car was very good. The only negative was that sometimes it was going to turn off automatically itself. Not that important.

>> After 4 Months: Alternator change ($450)

>> 2 Months Later: I was driving back from San Jose to Irvine, near LA's hills, the car started to show weakness and I pushed the gas pedal harder, but it would't go. very streng. I pulled over, opened up the hood. I saw ALL 4 cylinders' wires are full of oil. Yes, I was seeing oil ON my engine. All over. Yes, the engine was out ($1000).

>> After that, It was awsome, but it still had the turn off habit. it would turn itself ALMOST off. Also, although the engine was completely repaired, when I was trying to get the best 0-60MPh, it would weeken itself from 2000RPM and up. I mean, it would go quick to 2000 and after that it was like missing fuel or something that it would go with the same accelaration.

General comments?

At first, 27Mpg and now, after also a Engine repair... wouldn't believe it... 18Mpg!!! I don't know why. I don'y deal with it that bad, but it has 18mpg.

Now... they were all negatives...

Positives:

This car is a very good car. Run awsome. Power is good (Was good). I passed Talons, Eclipses and Hondas with my SL2 Twin Cam Saturn. Also, it is not that pretty.

I too had the oil leak on my engine, but I didn't need to replace the engine just the oil gasket $150.00. You may have gotten screwed.
