1997 Saturn SL SL2 review from North America
"I only hope that my next car is as good as this one was"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Before I had this car my dad had owned it, during his time with the car the transmission had to be replaced along with the starter.
Since I have been driving this car I have had to replace the starter, but was not charged anything due to the warranty. I also had to replace the battery. This car also burns a lot of oil because of scratches on the cylinder walls, and because of this I will not have the car much longer.
General comments?
Although the car is on it's way out, I must admit that I love this car. And I am going to miss the quickness and the awesome handling on this car. I know that some people have had some bad experiences with Saturns , but I would recommend that everyone own one at one point or another. Who knows maybe you'll love this brand as much as I do.
