1996 Saturn SL SL2 review from North America

Well, I have a Saturn SL2 '96, and I bought it from the previous owner in August of 2002, and I never had any problems out of it at all. The only times that it was in the shop was for basic oil changes and tire rotations. Also there were two other incidents that occurred. I live in Florida and anyone knows that here, we get a lot of hurricanes and thunderstorms. Well lightning had hit a satellite pole in our pine tree, ran through the ground and struck the brain cell in my car. All of the electrical wires and parts were completely fried! After that was fixed, a couple months later my friend was installing a CD player into my console, and whenever I turned it on and it started playing, my headlights starts going wacky on me, and my brights would then not work at all. So I took it to the Saturn dealership, and they told me that they would have to replace the cluster which was in the dash board. That cost close to $600.00. Other than them things, my car has always been good to me... up until just yesterday. I had went out of town to visit some family of mine and I was getting ready to leave, got in the car and tried to crank it up, but it wasn't doing anything, not even turning. So I just knew that the battery had to be dead, so I got someone to give me a jump, and that worked alright. I was then heading down the interstate then all of a sudden I looked down at my clock and noticed that the light kept on flickering. I had my radio and lights on so I cut them off, then my car just cut completely off, jerked real hard, then cut back on. It did this about 4 times. So, I decided to pull off onto the side of the road to call for help. Right when I let off of the gas, it went completely dead.
