I had to replace the water pump and the front brakes, other than that I've never had a problem with this car.
It runs real smooth. I get very good gas mileage 39 highway/31 city.
I have put over 328,000 kilometers on my 1997 sl1 saturn, the clutch was changed at 302,000 km. If it had not been for a accident this year (2005) I would still be driving it. I bought a 2002 sl with 38,000 km this march. I fing that satrun are good reliable car, economical, and fun to drive.
