1995 Saturn SL SL2 review from North America
"Very fast and economical"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The brake rotors made a lot of noise and kept grinding.
The driver window leakes very little during a hard rain.
The piston rings went out at 147000 miles.
The alternator needed to be changed at 146,000 miles.
The catalytic converter and muffler was changed at 147000 miles.
General comments?
The 1995 Saturn SL 2 is very exceptional and economical car to purchase if you are in the market to purchase a vehicle the is very economical in gas and if you are younger possibly turn it into a sport car.
I have owned the Saturn only 1 year and have already changed out the old factory piston rings and upgraded them into performance ones and the fuel mangement system upgraded as well.
I have also upgraded the old factory exhaust by replacing the factory catalytic converter and the muffler to a Magna-flow Performance Exhaust
system.
I have also upgraded the interior stereo system and put a more louder and stlyish head unit and had the interior speakers replaced and upgraded.
I have also just recently installed Glow Gauges and removed the old factory gauges.
