2002 Saturn SL review from North America
"Cheap, Low maintence, Effcient"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Other than wear and tear items, I have had no problems with the car.
General comments?
I bought this car in August 2004 with 71,000 miles on it. I have since put 21,00 miles on the car and have had not a single problem with it. I replaced the tires about two months ago, as well as the serpentine belt. these are both normal wear and tear problems. I have driven my car through many states and have found it to be quite fuel efficient, only having to stop once every 5-7 hours, depending on traffic on the highways. When I drive it locally I can go for about a week until I need gas for it. Also keep in mind I drive it about 50-75 miles a day. The only cons for the car are: Lack of power which I have fixed by removing the air box resinator (forces the air through a hollow box and back into the air box to make the car sound quieter, so this will make it noticeibly louder.) it's a small upgrade, but definately noticeable. The turning radius is not as good as it can be for a small car. but overall I would definitely purchase another Saturn.
