1995 Saturn SL review from North America
"Good Reliable American Car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator 188,489 miles, Transmission 181,345 miles, Clutch 181,345 miles, Serpentine Belt 188,560 miles, Belt Tensioner 188,560 miles, Brake Pads Replaced at 189,879 miles, and the Catalytic converter 180,000 miles.
General comments?
The car is a great car its only left me stranded twice, but now I'm at 192,768 miles and it looks like the cars gonna make it to 200,000 miles soon. The plastic fenders and the doors make it rust proof so the car will never rust and the paint job on it is very good and shines well when I clean it. The car was purchased from the junkyard and has had a new tranny which only costed me 150.00 dollars and the clutch for only 134.00 and only costed me 350.00 for a guy from the near by transmission shop to do a sidejob and put it in for me. The car however is an oil hog and burns oil like any typical Saturn over 140,000 miles. But other than that it's a great American car.
