2005 Saturn VUE AWD review from North America

At purchase given 2 key less entries -- matter of a month, BOTH inoperable pads fell OFF, told me not to touch pads with fingernail and only have 1 key on key chain as "TOO HEAVY" in the ignition, so I now have to use 2 separate key chains.

On the way to work I stopped for coffee and could not get the key in the ignition - called the service dept. and was told to wrestle the steering wheel back and forth while trying to get key in and turn -- TOLD THIS WAS AN ANTI THEFT FEATURE - great, the owner can't start the car.

THE CAR MAKES UNEXPLAINED NOISES.

Tires wore quickly and unevenly.

Car is all over the road with the slightest wind.

Car is lousy in snow, so I had to put logs in the back, to weigh it down to stay on the road.

Rear drive shaft problem.

Console has a poor arrangement. It's hard to clean the car. The paint finish stains quickly; within minutes of bird dropping, the car was wiped and it still stained.

This car is a pure LEMON - and Saturn does NOT NOT NOT stand behind its products! They are rude and disrespectful, and refuse to honor their own warranty. FORGET CORPORATE, THEY ARE WORTHLESS!

The car was in for an inspection and they informed me my rear drive shaft was MISSING -- asked me when I took it off. (I don't even know where the Hell it is), they then said it was "STOLEN" for use on black market. Never heard of drive shaft being a HOT theft item. Now have an AWD drive that is a 2WD.

This is a $30,000,00 piece of crap. Saturn should be ashamed, but people like that have NO conscience!

I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW, AND DRIVE WITH BAGS OF LEMONS ON THIS, TO WARN OTHERS NOT TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GM PRODUCT.
