2003 Saturn VUE from North America - Comments

I have a complaint on the VTI Transmission. I purchased a 2003

Saturn Vue in 2005 with this transmission. I know there have been multiple

problems with this transmission and that they have stopped using them. I

just feel that some kind of compensation should come out of this. It just

seems like Saturn would be the one @ fault using that transmission in the

cars and now knowing that they are causing problems. I have only had this

car for 2 years and now I am told that it will cost me $5000.00 to replace

the transmission??? I realy love the Saturns and would love to continue

driving one. This all just seems unfair. If Saturn stopped using this

transmission in 2004...WHY would they sell me the car knowing that it was

bad in 2005, and knowing that they were not putting them in any more

Vue\'s??? I have been dealing with the corporate office and supposedly they are trying to find me another car and keep my payment close to what they are now. Now... The transmission has gone completely out and I do not have a car to drive. Still waiting on Saturn.

Dude that sucks!!! I would go foreign, cause they are usually more reliable, but I am sitting here knowing that I own a chevy that has not gave me a lick of a problem! go chevy and honda!
