2002 Saturn VUE AWD V6 review from North America
"Cheaply made with sup-bar service"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Steering boot (drivers side) had to be replaced due to wear at 40,000 miles.
Heated seats did not work when the car was delivered.
Electronic cluster failed and had to be replaced.
Speedometer cluster was faulty at 1,000 miles.
General comments?
Our Vue was taken to the dealership for repair at 1,000 miles and they proceeded to leave the vehicle outside during a hail storm. The vehicle was dropped off at our home with hail damage and when I called them back they stated that the vehicle was looked over for damage and they had found none before they returned it. Needless to say the salesman came out and took a look and saw the truth and the heated seats still did not work. At first the dealer told us tough luck, but finally admitted fault. I will NEVER deal with a Saturn product or service center again (Saturn of St. Paul).
