2006 Saturn VUE review from North America
"All in all, I highly recommend the Vue as it's a great value for the price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
This is my first new car, my first SUV and my first Saturn. I was skeptical about buying an American car, but after having such a bad experience with my Jetta, I thought I'd give the US cars a try.
The 4cyl Vue was unimpressive, to say the least. When you drive the V6 after the 4cyl, the difference is remarkable.
The Vue's ride is incredibly smooth and quiet. The interior is very up-to-date and well put together, though it does seem like they cheaped out in some areas (like the plastic used in the vents and in the cargo area) and with the faux leather & fabric seats. As with any car, the more whistle and bells you get, the nicer the car seems though I do appreciate the free year of OnStar and I LOVE having my car as my cell phone.
The Vue is easy to drive and there aren't any blind spots. The exterior door handles could be different; they're a bit odd to get used to.
