"Expensive and difficult to maintain"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The Gear selector broke and this meant removal of the gear box.

The clutch slave cylinder broke at 90000 miles and the gear box had to be removed.

General comments?

A wonderful car to drive and a great family car, but difficult and expensive to work on.

Since writing my review I have had the cam belt changed, that cost 130 pounds, I have had to buy two new tyres at a cost of over 80 pounds each and for the annual MoT test I had to have a ball joint in the front suspension replaced at a cost of 50 pounds.

However, I had an oil change and service carried out in Finland in August and that cost me 130 euros. I had been quoted 150 pounds for the same service in Britain, so who says the euro is a bad thing for Britain. At least we will finally see how badly we are being "ripped off" if we ever adopt it as our currency.

The car performed really well over the 3000 miles driven during our holiday and the car returned over 35 miles to the gallon even with the air conditioning switched on constantly during the hottest summer Finland has ever known.
