1997 Seat Cordoba 1.4 SE review from UK and Ireland

Drivers door window has started to become a bit screechy when opening and closing, but nothing major.

Passenger door handle jumped out of alignment after the door was slammed hard meaning door could not be opened from the outside. Quick and cheap repair soon solved this.

Basically just a VW! But you get the German built quality for half the price!

Great little car, the 1.4 engine is a revvy little motor and it's quite sprightly, especially around town. It does tend to lag a little on dual carriageways etc as it is accelerating up to 70mph, but I bought this car to get me from A to B and not to race around in and so, should be treated as such.

Solid build quality and very quiet inside, engine is a happy little motor. Car is comfortable inside and excellent on long journeys. My past 5 cars have been older BMW's and in all honesty, this was a welcome change and is just as good as the BMW's in terms of ride quality and comfort. The reason I bought this car was because it was being offered to me cheap by my sister and I was looking to downgrade to a smaller car anyway; 95% of the time I am in the car of my own, so I did not need the huge BMW! Probably one of the best choices I made as well, I am thoroughly pleased with this car.
