2001 Seat Ibiza Hatch 4-Door review from Brazil
"I Will never buy SEAT again"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Battery replaced at 7.000
Gearbox replaced at 12.000
Clutch Replaced at 23.000
Alternator replaced at 30.000.
The dealer service is useless!
When I bought, there was only 50 Seat Dealers in hole Brazil territory.
Now, all dealers just disappeared!
If you have a problem with your SEAT, you have to visit a Volkswagen dealer, which also their services are very poor.
Even tough, my experience with the dealers (whe they were still "alive").
Wasn't so good. My car stayed about, fifteen days with them, to replace the gearbox, once this part is imported from Spain.
General comments?
My advice is: Do not buy a SEAT; Specially if you live in Brazil.
I Have owned previously a 1999 Volkswagen Polo Classic 1.8 for two years and it was a very relible car. That in two years of ownership never broken down.
My experience with Seat, wasn't so good, as I was expecting for.
I think, I'll go back to Volkswagen again and buy a Polo or buy a Peugeot 206.
I don't know which car, will be I'm still confused.
But one thing, that's for certain.
Won't be a SEAT!
