2002 Skoda Fabia Silverline review from UK and Ireland
"Initially loved this car, but now just very disappointed"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 48000 miles, what appeared to be a small leak turned out to be initially a head gasket, radiator and gearbox. On starting work it was then discovered to be a cracked engine.
General comments?
Up until this point, very few faults with the car. Handled nicely, was reliable, interior nice, spacious, good size boot.
Only 2 niggles, the first was on opening either of the 2 rear windows you had to open one in the front as well otherwise the air pressure made your ears pop/it made a really weird noise.
Secondly, the driver seat height adjustment lever is located on the side of the seat, and every time you get it in you knock it a notch - you then realize after a couple of days you can no longer reach the pedals or see out of the mirror.
