"A high performance great value car, and fun to drive"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing so far because I am picking it up this Saturday.

General comments?

I have test driven this car twice, and it is amazing. I was being test driven and it was put through its paces, safley and with ease. The car is such amazing value for what you are getting, I'm sure you will agree if you own one.

The seats and ride are more comfortable than its competitors, yet it dtill feels very sporty.

What more can you say with Torque of 310Nm at 1900 revolutions, more than a Porsche Box!

This car has its downfalls, like the front dash board, but the rest of the car is superb. It looks great and has a very good sound system, essential for long drives.

I look forward to driving it away as my first ever new car.

I would be interested to know what the 0-60 mph time is when chipped to 175 break horse power, however the power in the midrange gears is enough to appreciate this car. That's where the fun lies, not off the line speed!

I pick me black one up next Thursday, How can anyone make a comment about how good a car can handle, and what it is like to drive until you have driven the car for a fairly long drive, When I took a test drive the dealership let me have the car for 1/2 an hour, enough time for me to find out if I liked it and the driving poition suited ect, but hardly enough time to start comenting a car I have not had the pleasure to drive for a couple weeks.

My Cheshire Skoda dealer was been very helpful, allowing me half a days test drive or more at my discretion. After all you are the Customer! (I did have to pre arrange and provide my license).

"Was it worth it"?? Well yes, absolutley stonking performance and an exceptional ride with positive direct handling all for less than 12k. Loads of space looks are deceptive! Returned 50 MPG and received some serious red line.

Personally, I don't know what planet half of the motoring review writers come from! as some of their feedback is rather negative of the Fabia VRS. WHY!

I spent half a day with my Fabia and can report that it is one of the best vehciles I have ever driven ! I hope to own one soon. I'm just awaiting for the face lift version due this Sept!

There is nothing else to match this Cult car - to be - for me!

No-I don't want repsect..... nor do I work for Skoda... but I do want a real bargain in an age of Jeremy C paper hats!

Lets see the Stig put this diesel Skoda around the track, it will trash cars 3 x times its value and more!!

Believe me = "Its the dogs dangly bits"!

Can you tell me which Cheshire Skoda dealer this is please? I'm interested in the vRS and live in South Manchester; an extended test drive would be handy.

Thanks.

Chipped to 164hp my Fabia goes from 0-100km/h in 8.5s (two people on board).

All those stories with 7 or less seconds are pure nonsense. The car empty weighs 1250kg, with a few people, over 1.5 tons. The car is too heavy and nothing can make it go under 7.5s whatever people say!

I drive one, I know!
