2000 Skoda Fabia review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
In the early days of my Fabia 1.4 16V I had problems engaging 1st and 2nd gear, this was put right within a couple of days by the Dealership and no further trouble since.
The only real problem with this car was,in the first two winters we had problems with the "Washer Pump" freezing up and since then we have had no further problems,once again this was put right almost immediately.
In all this is truly a remarkable car in so many ways and I will have no hesitation in purchasing from this Manufacturer in the near future.
General comments?
This car is an excellent Motorway performer.
If I had to be critical,it would be that the "Road Temp Warning",this should be in the middle panel of the speedo area and also the panel lights would benefit by being in Orange, like other VW Group cars, this would add to the night time comfort.
A brilliant efford by Skoda and improving all the time- well done Skoda.
