2003 Skoda Octavia Kaurin & Klement review from UK and Ireland
"Amazing, faultless and fantastic value for money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Absolutely NOTHING.
General comments?
I must be mad, I upgraded to a Skoda Superb to tow my caravan. I should have kept the Octavia and bought something else to tow the van.
The Octavia was simply the BEST car I have owned in 35 years driving, faultless, luxury, powerful.
Criticisms are that the mark 1 is short on rear seat leg room (rectified in the 2005 Mark 2) and the fuel consumption is less than 30 overall unless you do a lot of long journeys like me (mine averaged 33mpg over 45,000 miles) this is also better in the Mark 2.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending one (but don't buy a Superb).
